Just another reminder about the WLUW Record Fair going on this weekend at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse in Bucktown. It's $7 ($5 with the online ad) to get in and buy all the vinyl you want from dealers around the midwest. If you don't have a record player, there'll still be lots of CDs, posters, 'zines, and art for sale, plus DJs and live music from bands like Canasta, Colossal, Lesser Birds of Paradise, Morning Recordings, and Sleep Out (ft. members of Driftless Pony Club!). Saturday also features a Self-Publishing Fair, with 'zine readings, an independent media skillshare, and more. I'll be DJing in the "north room" from 12-1pm on Saturday, probably rock music, but we'll see what the mood is. Megan's DJing from 2-3pm in the "south room" on Sunday.
