Andrew Bird on Saturday- excellent as always. He gets better and better every time I see him, and having a drummer this time around made for a nice touch. Girls throughout the venue were swooning (yes, me included). I don't think I give the Metro enough credit for being a decent venue; even though it's bigger than I would like, the sound is always good, and it's pretty easy to get a good view from almost anywhere. I might write it up for TMT, if I get around to it- though I do have a slew of shows coming up that I've committed to reviewing, including Animal Collective and Of Montreal.
