Chris Martin : John Lennon? Puhlease. I could see Chris Martin moving on to a solo career the likes of, oh, say Steve Winwood. Except Traffic was way cooler than Coldplay.
Chris Martin's songwriting is already beyond cheesy. I hate to hear what his solo stuff sounds like.
