Already excellent releases from 2004 are making their way into my hands in 2005. My new obsession: Erlend Oye's DJ Kicks- the dude remixes (and sometimes sings over) really random dance songs like the Rapture's "I Need Your Love," Royksopp's "Poor Leno," and that 80s song "Venus." It is awesome, the kind of album I could give to any of my friends who aren't into music and I know they would like it. Also loving: The Streets "A Grand Don't Come for Free" and Annie's "Anniemal."
