Musical Theft

Some more musicians get their gear stolen out of their van, this time while one of the band members is sleeping in the van with the equipment. Seriously, gear thieves must be stealthiest, most ingenious thieves ever.

Ok, why don't musicians remember to get their stuff insured? It's not that much per year depending on the net worth of the items, such as about $100 premium for $10,000 in instruments. My husband's friends had their stuff stolen in Europe on tour and when he asked them about insurance they thought that was too serious and uncool or something.

I hear ya sister! Insurance is sooo not rock though, right?

I swear I blogged about insurance a few months ago, but can't seem to find the link. Oh well.
