What a fuckin' cop-out! Sufjan, Sufjan, Sufjan. When you make a whole album about your faith (Seven Swans), questions about the cultural beliefs & practices associated with that faith are reasonable questions! So, y'know, do you identify with the culturally conservative wing of your religion or not?

I know, I know, it's not his job to take political stances. And his political views couldn't matter less when I am listening to Illinois. But still...what a fuckin' cop-out!
