Under Surveillance

The latest episode of WLUW show Under Surveillance with host Kevin Fullam has an interesting discussion with professor Timothy Shary of the University of Oklahoma of youth-oriented films and music. Per Kevin, they examine the film Juno and Hollywood's depiction of teenage pregnancy over the years, as well as look at the Beatles homage Across the Universe and the relationship between music and youth-themed films during the last few decades (such as Saturday Night Fever, Breakin', and Swingers, the latter of which sparked a mini-swing music revival in the mid-90s).
