Today Pitchfork posted an mp3 of the Junior Boys song they reviewed so highly a while ago and called it "an obvious standout on a record packed with them." It is, indeed, an awesome song. Album's out August 17th!

I managed to fanagle a copy of the new disc, and while several of the tunes are as good as "In the Morning," I don't know that I would say it's packed with standouts. At least not the way Last Exit was.

Still, judging by the way PF is hyping it up, I anticipate a 9+ review. In all reality it's probably more like a 8.0, with some solid 9+ tunes on it.

Oh yeah, it sounds completely different too... and the production style definitely follows the lead of "In the Morning."
