I've added the Decemberists new album to the Recommended Listening page after listening to it quite a bit over my vacation. The first paragraph of Pitchfork's review of it sums up perfectly how I feel about it; I also thought the last album, though good, got a bit excessively epic and weird, and Picaresque brings them back to the more subtle songwriting of Castaways and Cutouts while still telling interesting and bizarre stories.
